· Most popular film magazine is Empire – their readers are 75% male and is aimed at the ages 18-40 years. This because they often cover big blockbusters like superhero and fantasy films which are typically aimed at that demographic.
T The publication Sight and Sound was first published in Spring 1932 – it is now aimed at university students studying film or those with an in-depth knowledge due to it covering figures like Alfred Hitchcock and Jean Harlow.

y Yours Retro is a magazine similar to mine and has garnered a thousand followers across Instagram and X, but their mag is aimed at older generations than Reel Reflections, so an online presence is not as necessary. My magazine will feature more of this through its website and the feature of a podcast to relate to the younger target audience.
